The Problem
Gloria, founder of BUD 2 BLOOM, was gearing up for launch and knew her brand needed to feel like the community she was trying to build—vibrant, bold, and inviting. But at the time, BUD 2 BLOOM lacked a visual identity strong enough to carry its message or attract its ideal audience. She wanted more than just “a look”—she needed clarity, strategy, and something that would hold up as the brand grew.
The Solution
We kicked off with brand strategy, using it as a compass to make every design choice intentional. From the start, the goal was clear: a fun, vibrant identity that balances play with power.
I designed a custom submark and bold logotype featuring soft curves and symbolic elements—like petals hidden in the letter “B” and supportive heads in the double O’s—visually expressing community, growth, and safety.
We built a palette around warm oranges and pinks, layered with playful baby blue and an elegant rose to give range and depth. For typography, we combined a funky, heavy display font for standout moments with a clean sans-serif to keep things grounded and accessible.
The imagery direction? Real, joyful, and rooted in sisterhood: grainy textures, saturated colours, expressive moments. It all came together in a way that felt fresh but familiar.
The brand was so well-received that we extended the project—designing posters and additional brand collateral ahead of her first event.
The Outcome
The first “Paint & Picnic” event sold out, and the founder saw a major spike in social media engagement right after launch. She said the brand strategy sessions gave her the language and tools she needed to speak about her work with boldness and clarity.
She left each meeting more energised and confident—calling the branding process “contagious.” People regularly compliment her visuals, and the brand continues to attract the right kind of attention, both online and in person.
What I Loved
This was a dream project. The founder had a strong vision, but gave me full creative freedom to take it further. I loved how grounded, authentic, and unapologetically joyful the brand was—something that’s rare in the wellness space. It’s the kind of work that reminds you why design matters.
"Rayanna is incredible at what she does! Every session we had together helped me gain greater clarity on the purpose and vision of my brand. Her passion for branding is truly contagious, and I left every meeting even more excited to launch my business. I particularly enjoyed her questionnaire, which made me consider things I hadn’t yet thought of for my brand strategy. Rayanna was open and willing to communicate in whichever format suited me best (i.e. phone calls/video calls/emails), which made the collaboration process so easy. She welcomed feedback well but also provided great suggestions to keep my branding aligned with my business’s purpose. I’m so in love with the end product and recommend Kenzi Studio to every business/entrepreneur who wants high-quality branding to match their vision. I can't wait to work with Kenzi Studio again!"
