The Problem
The Known Collective had a clear vision but needed help bringing it to life visually and strategically. They weren’t just looking for a pretty logo—they needed a bold, purpose-driven identity that felt true to their faith, creativity, and community-led mission. Their brand felt too DIY for the level of impact they wanted to make.
The Solution
We started with strategy. Together, we clarified their mission, voice, audience personas, and values. We explored what set them apart—this wasn’t just a Christian group or an art collective; it was a space where people could show up fully as themselves, creatively and spiritually.
The visual identity followed that same spirit. The logo is playful and full of meaning: curved lines add a sense of movement and joy, while the droplet-shaped “O” subtly references Exodus 31, symbolising the Spirit-anointed creativity of God’s people. Bold typography meets soft shapes, blending simplicity with fun.
Bright oranges, pinks, and peaches bring vibrancy and joy, while greens and teals offer calm and safety. It’s energetic without being chaotic, just like the community they’re building. Posters, imagery, and layout choices highlight real connection: hugs, laughter, unfiltered moments of support.
The Outcome
With a solid brand in place, The Known Collective hit the ground running. Within three months, they’d launched on socials, hosted three packed-out events, and started promoting a creative retreat. The identity didn’t just look good—it worked hard to build trust, energy, and visibility in a crowded space.
What I Loved
Helping The Known Collective merge faith and creativity so unapologetically was a joy. This project let me bring strategy, symbolism, and bold design together in a way that felt honest and exciting. It's rare to work with a team so open to pushing boundaries while staying rooted in purpose.

Don't just take my word for it...
"Rayanna has been absolutely amazing to work with. She has helped bring our ideas to life and considered aspects of our brand we hadn’t even thought of. Not only that, but she has been incredibly flexible and patient with us in all senses. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough, she’s great at what she does."
