Black Travel Summit reached out to me, looking for a fresh landing page for their annual summit.
They wanted something high-end yet approachable—celebrating Black excellence while capturing the joy, energy, and vibrancy of the event. So, I asked them, "If you could compare the vibe of the summit to a fabric, what would it be?" They told me cashmere—not silk or satin, but something rare and special, with that undeniable quality and depth.
With that in mind, I got to work, reimagining their previous website to create something elevated and aligned with their vision. Despite a tight deadline, I delivered just in time for Black Travel Summit's next event announcement in Brazil. The final design was sleek, polished, and full of life.
My Approach
During the process, Black Travel Summit trusted my expertise, which allowed me to introduce bold, unexpected design choices—like a contrasting sans serif typeface—that reflected the summit’s confident and vibrant energy.
The result was a landing page that perfectly captured their vision and values. It blended aspirational Black excellence with a fresh, modern feel, and the team was delighted with the outcome.
The web designs here reflect my creative direction and aesthetic vision for the project. While I developed the concept, a web developer brought the final site to life, and the live version may differ slightly from my original design.
